About Me

Music has always been a driving force in my life. As a multi-instrumentalist and piano instructor with over 15 years of experience playing piano, I’ve developed a deep understanding of not only how music sounds, but how an instrument responds to the player.

Outside of music, I’ve spent years woodworking, developing a respect for precision, materials, and process. That same mindset carries directly into my work with pianos, carefully understanding how each component interacts and bringing the instrument back to a balanced, responsive state. It’s where two worlds meet: the sensitivity of a musician and the precision of a builder.

My Approach

When it comes to tuning and repair, I focus on careful evaluation of each instrument’s condition, with close attention to pitch stability, tone, touch, and mechanical function. I take the time to identify what the piano needs, whether it’s precise tuning, minor regulation adjustments, or targeted repairs.

I will carefully evaluate your piano, help you understand its current condition, and provide clear options for its care or repair so you can make informed decisions about how to move forward.
